9 Sedilo – Ghilarza – Fordongianus

The stage can be broken up, thus: Sedilo – Ghilarza and Ghilarza – Fordongianus.
Up to Ghilarza you will drive along a dirt road, leaving Lake Omodeo on the left. After the nuraghi Crastu and Mortos, you will make a special encounter (km 10.6): it is the Nuraghe Orgono, stop for a visit, it is of extraordinary beauty. After passing the nuraghe, after 1.2 km you will enter Ghilarza, where you can stop to sleep, thus breaking the stage. Following the path arrows, you’ll take a small inter-modal road that will take you to the Novenario Santa Maria Ausiliatrice di Trempu (km 18.45). Continue until you skirt SP 23. At km 28.2 you will enter a small dirt road that you will follow for 1.6 km to the entrance of Fordongianus, where you will be greeted by the ancient bridge over the Tirso River, Su Riu Mannu.
