Easy

After Olbia, the walk follows an ancient path to the church of San Paolo, passing through Enas and Vermentino vineyards. The last stretch is uphill, arriving at Berchiddeddu.

Very challenging

A long and tiring stage, from the forests of Gallura you enter Logudoro, immersed in silence and nature cared for by Forestas. Best to leave at dawn.

Medium-engaging

From Logudoro you enter Barbagia following the transhumance route through cork and holm oak forests. The last stretch is steep, then Bitti appears on the horizon.

Easy

Easy and restorative stage: from Barbagia we enter Baronia with a recommended detour to Onanì, a village rich in churches and charm.

Challenging

Intense and evocative stage: you cross the countryside to the Sanctuary of St. Francis and the Approdi Community, then continue to Nuoro where you will be greeted by the Church of Solitude. Recommended to stop in Nuoro for the night.

Challenging

From the summit of Mount Ortobene, descend to Nuoro and continue to Orani or Sarule, located at the foot of Mount Gonare, the summit of the Path. Between trails, rural landscapes and faith, the route offers beauty and spirituality.

Medium-engaging

From the summit of Gonare you descend toward Orotelli through forests and rocks, crossing miners’ lands. This is the stage with the highest church on the way and the highest Siste Viator stone.

Media

Long but easy stage between quiet roads and serene landscapes. Recommended stop in Ottana. The last uphill stretch leads to Sedilo, greeted by art and stone Siste Viator.

Medium-engaging

A stage of culture and nature in the villages of Ghilarza and Fordongianus: among nuraghi, dirt roads and Lake Omodeo, we reach the bridge over the Tirso River, greeted by the ancient charm of Su Riu Mannu.

Very challenging

Long and scenic stage: from Mount Grighine you descend to Alta Marmilla among forests, villages and ancient Roman roads. You can break at Usellus or continue to Sini, where the oldest olive tree in Sardinia welcomes you.

Easy

A flat and fascinating stage: between the villages of Marmilla and the “Sardinia in Miniature” Park, we reach Barumini, welcomed by the nuragic site Su Nuraxi, a UNESCO heritage site.

After sleeping a few meters from Su Nuraxi, you will be accompanied by the excitement emanating from an ancient land that has provided sustenance and beauty for centuries. You will enter Guasila, in Trexenta, considered the capital of durum wheat in Sardinia.

Easy

Easy stage between Trexenta and Campidano: stop in Samatzai, a village of peace and work, then toward Ussana among paths and a Roman bridge. At San Sebastiano, the path already smells of arrival.

Medium-engaging

Last exciting stage: from the silence of Ussana we arrive at Monserrato, then enter Cagliari. After 28 km, the Basilica of Bonaria welcomes the pilgrim at the end of the walk.
