Good morning, my name is Nicolò I live in Castelfranco Veneto and I walked the path of Bonaria in February 2026.
I consider myself an expert in walking and trekking despite my 37 years, having walked entirely the (French) Way of St. James, Everest Base camp (Nepal), Westhighland Way (Scotland) citing the most important ones along with many other national and international walks.
Regarding the Bonaria walk in the technical aspect, I can say that the level is medium easy consequently advisable for everyone!
All the stages are very well marked along the entire route, and I also confirm that it was not necessary to access the GPS track.
The stages vary with the landscape, some are spectacular and others less so, but overall never monotonous (in some sections it looks a lot like the Camino de Santiago).
As for facilities, there are still not many but they reflect all the needs of the pilgrim, managing to find both donative and traditional facilities.
Finally, as far as hospitality is concerned, I have to say that the note that really threw me off in a positive way because hospitality in this region of Italy is beyond imagination.
I can only congratulate the organizers and in advising everyone to undertake this experience, I thank all the people who welcomed, followed and supported me because I assure you that this aspect is definitely not taken for granted.
