On April 12, 2026, the General Assembly of the members of the Way of Bonaria was held at the Shrine of the Miracle in Lula (NU).
It was an intense day, dedicated to deepening and discussing the issues of reception, maintenance of some stages and the many projects that will see the Association engaged on several fronts, particularly on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the consecration of the Basilica of Bonaria.
Space was devoted to Project Filippide (the walk with autistic children), the ongoing torchlight walk with CSI athletes along the 14 stages of the Walk, and the Brescia-based Insuperabile Association’s walk planned for next August.
There was also a review of the planning of the dedicated route for cyclists and the three-day walk, planned for May, from the Mamone Penal Colony to the Badu ‘e Carros prison.
A special moment was dedicated to Zigheddu, dean and president of the board of probationers: Antonello Menne wrote a book for him, tracing Zigheddu’s 47 stages along the jubilee churches of Sardinia.
Finally, the income statement was approved and the closure of membership for the year 2026 was sanctioned.
