If I had to describe the Bonaria Way, I would describe it between sky, land and sea a
wonderful path that deeply touches the heart and mind.
Each stage enriches you with wonderful emotions and feelings.
Authentic villages of humble and welcoming people who manage to move you, who tell you
about the wonderful land that Sardinians guard with so much love.
A land of ancient traditions not forgotten, living together with respect for nature.
Bonaria is a path that is not only spiritual, and by spiritual I mean both religious and a
attainment of a connection with nature in all its aspects and a connection
with one’s state of mind.
Bonaria is a path of sky where you reach peaks of Mount Gonare and the Grighine
where eagles, hawks, and griffon vultures connect you with flight with the air and from the top you can admire
this wonderful landscape of a land very rich in farmers, shepherds who
allow you to enter their world made of culture for all that this land can
give you.
Bonaria is a path that starts from the sea of Olbia crosses the soul, the heart of
Sardinia and it is as if it crosses you inside in your being, in your mind, in your
heart in your soul, enchantingly it marks you with its beauty its warmth with its
authenticity to then release you in the sea of Cagliari, and you feel the need to go to her…the
Madonna of Bonaria and thank her.
Gratitude is what I still feel today.
Charles.
