Good morning, I am Anna and I do family hospitality in Guasila.
In my own small way, with simplicity and an open heart, I try every day to offer welcome and support to the pilgrims who arrive at my home, often tired but full of light in their eyes.
I am on the twelfth stage, and each time it is an indescribable emotion to see them arrive after having walked more than 300 kilometers: steps laden with fatigue, but above all with faith, devotion and hope. In their stories, in their silences and in their smiles one can perceive all the beauty of this journey, which guides them with determination toward Our Lady of Bonaria.
I confess that sometimes my heart tightens — and yes, I also feel like crying. Because in those moments one feels something deep, something true, which goes beyond words. Special thanks to Pavol for his beautiful words, which I carry with me. And a huge thank you to all the pilgrims who have already passed through here: each of them left me a little piece of themselves, a memory, an emotion, a story that I cherish.
I hope with all my heart to welcome many more pilgrims, to continue to share this great little gift that is hospitality.
My door is open-and my heart even more so.
