I already miss the people I’ve met along the way.
I already miss walking around and exploring these places that are new to me.
Traveling through the inland areas of Sardinia is a unique experience.
From the sea to the sea, from cork oak forests to wheat fields, passing through pastures, vineyards, millennia-old olive groves, mountains, valleys, and hills—a region untouched by floods of tourists but alive and lived in by its people: unique, hospitable by nature, proud of their land, and eager to share its story with expertise and passion.
I want to say thank you to the people who have joined me on this wonderful adventure—a long but enjoyable journey, at times challenging but never boring, and well organized by the volunteers who take care of it.
A special thank you to the network of women who run these accommodations; their dedication and experience made our stay unique and special.
I’ll be back as soon as possible to enjoy, as I walk, this land and its people, who are so special and unique. A big hello also to Anna from Guasila and her infectious spontaneity.
