Organized by the “Il Segno” Association of Sinnai and the Italian Sports Center (Sardinian section), the torchlight procession started from the Basilica of San Simplicio in Olbia on April 11, with a blessing from the Bishop of Tempio, Bishop Fornaciari.
CSI athletes and volunteers of the Bonaria Walk are walking the individual stages. Upon arrival in the various villages, the athletes and volunteers receive a warm welcome from the local communities.
The arrival is scheduled in Sinnai for the evening of April 24, after a stop at the juvenile prison in Quartucciu. The athletes will be welcomed by the faithful of Sinnai and Bishop Baturi; then, all together, they will continue into the night toward Bonaria.
